Poster

Here is the poster for my film.  Mary Kinsora did a great job painting it.

Almost There

I am getting close to having all of the animation done and timed out by the end of this week.

54 shots done and 22 to go.
Sound for the first 30 seconds thanks to Aaron Symonds.  More coming soon.

So here is the work reel so far.

She Can Talk

Spring Break is over and it was a wasted week as far as getting things done on my film, but as far as job hunting goes it was extremely successful.

So this week I have been working on some more dialogue tests for Ashley.  I finally found a way that works and I am happy with how it looks now.

My goal for the next few weeks is to finish animating.  I want to have all 77 shots (give or take a few I keep adding and cutting) done by April 2nd.  As of right now I have 18 done.
A long way to go but it will get done.

Here is another shot I did today.

Ashley Amination

This past weekend I started animating Ashley.  Its taken forever but now everything is moving along.  Here are some of the shots.

In this shot Ashley has just been transported into Ashleyland.
And in this shot Ashley gets her skis.

Many Faces of Ashley

So Ashley is finally done.  All of the eyes can move without breaking and there is hair on the skull part of her head.  Now its time to finish the aunt and uncle.

Here is a test animation of the heads to see if they work.  Now its time to test dialogue.

Ashley Maquette

I am taking a maquette sculpting class so I decided to make Ashley.

I took ref photos of my cousin, Victoria, when we went skiing, and she is also the voice for Ashley in my film.

And here is my maquette.
