Right now my film is at 65 shots total.
I have 34 animated and 31 to go.
I plan on having everything animated and timed out by the end of next week.

She Can Talk
Spring Break is over and it was a wasted week as far as getting things done on my film, but as far as job hunting goes it was extremely successful.
So this week I have been working on some more dialogue tests for Ashley. I finally found a way that works and I am happy with how it looks now.

My goal for the next few weeks is to finish animating. I want to have all 77 shots (give or take a few I keep adding and cutting) done by April 2nd. As of right now I have 18 done.
A long way to go but it will get done.

Many Faces of Ashley
So Ashley is finally done. All of the eyes can move without breaking and there is hair on the skull part of her head. Now its time to finish the aunt and uncle.
Here is a test animation of the heads to see if they work. Now its time to test dialogue.

Scene 2 Is Done
Alright I think I am done shooting scene 2, at least for now. If I have time at the end I might reshoot, or I might leave it alone. We will see.
So here are 2 versions of the finished shots. Any comments would be really helpful. I am not sure which one will be in the film.

Scene 2
I have finished building scene 2 and have started doing some test animations. Here are some pictures of the set.
I got the idea for doing the separate sections from a short animation by Aardman Animations called Wat's Pig.

I have done a few test animations for this scene. Over the next couple of days I will be working out the bugs for the tracking shot.

Scene 1 With Trees
Here is an almost finished scene 1. I just have to add the sky background and re-shoot shot 5 because all the leaves were falling off the trees.

Tests
Here is what I have been working on this past week. I finished sculpting and painting the pink foam mountain. Now I have to add the snow, trees and grass, and paint the road. I am really happy with how it turned out. I was worried I would lose a lot of the texture with the paint covering it, but I think now it is starting to look like a mountain.
More tests. This one is of the blue bunny hill that I need to change to white. I don't want to do any damage to the bunny because I am borrowing it from my grandma. I Still need to tweak a few things but I am liking the results so far.
And finally my proof of concept. Clips of the stop motion I did last year and a test animation of the car going down the mountain.
I started to do some test animations with the the car going down the mountain, playing with speed and timing. I have the green screen behind it so I can put in a sky or other mountains later.

Next week I plan to finish making the basic structures for all of the slope shots and continue making armatures for my puppets.
